Building Composite / Modular Silverlight Applications

This location is shown only to members

Based on the last meetup, it sounded like it might be a good idea to put something together that discusses the various ways to build "loosely coupled" (composite) SL applications. Perhaps discuss the various frameworks available that can help with this (e.g. MEF, Prism, Caliburn, MVVM Toolkit, Silverlight FX, etc...) and how to choose between them?

    So...what happened tonight. Why didn't a co-ordinator show up?

Very good question! Special thanks to those who came out for a few beers and some great Silverlight discussions instead! It was great meeting everyone. Maybe we should start a "Silverlight and Beer" meet up!

I'm not sure how this Meetup website works, I've never been to any event and I suggested a date for this one earlier. Did that mean I'm responsible for this event? I couldn't go last night because of overtime work at company. I apologize if it caused it trouble for anyone.

oh no, I'm really sorry to everyone showed up last night then. Where can I get all the information about how to setup an event, book a place and so on?

I think I see the problem here. Looking at the MeetUp Help docs, it seems that the Organizer can set things up so anyone can set a date & location for a meetup. Based on what happened last night I don't think this is a good idea. Mano, is this meetup still alive?

One thing I have to say is that there were definitely a decent number of people who were there to learn more about Silverlight and composite applications. So hopefully this is something somebody can take the lead on and make happen.

    No, I didn't just volunteer. ;-)
